What is that ?


Mindfulness is a wellness technique that involves bringing your attention back to the present moment. This form of meditation has its roots in Buddhism and was later developed by researcher Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979 to reduce stress and physical suffering.


How to practice?


The practitioner is led to observe what is happening within him in the present moment. That is to say, pay attention to your breathing and become aware of your emotions, thoughts and sensations without passing judgment. He must examine his neutral, unpleasant and pleasant perceptions as they arise and then disappear, without seeking to retain or reject them. Mindfulness can be practiced anywhere, at any time and in any position. However, a seated position in a quiet place is recommended, as it allows better concentration.
